Last meeting we starting altering our sewn wench dresses through screen printing. We are going to be adding multiple layers of different patterns and multiple colors. We are looking for patterns from members in the Natural Disaster style. These could be spinning tornadoes, waves or volcanic explosions.

Mummer Olivia also started hand painting our flags on the donated shower curtain fabric from On-Site Drapery. Alice taught a new mummer how to sew for the first time.

Mummers is great if you’re interested in making art with new friends. You can learn new skills from members and collaborate on costumes, dance and even color guard. None of us are craft experts so there is always a new skill you can contribute.
