Video FUN Battle: Sweatheart vs. The Drums Vs. Vampire Weekend

This is JUST the preview for the new Sweatheart video for Back Up. We had just finished the one take, one shot video and were basking in our awesomeness. Highlights include: AJW’s athleticism, Carrie Collin’s sustained headstand and Thom and Rose’s intricate floor work. I am completely biased in my judging but I still believe its more fun than the two videos below (combined).

Well-coiffed little indie lads whistling and running on the beach sounds like a pretty fun concept. Points off for not committing to the one take. More points off for NOT taking their shirts off. These boys need a lesson from Thom Lessner. Second place for running and not looking out of breath.

I didn’t even get to the end of this video. Basically the Sweatheart video had just as many celebrities, used a white room more effectively and was shot for $32,489 dollars less (this is just an estimate). AJW used a chair better than RZA, I believe that I took my pants off better than Jake Drunkenhall and Thom and Rose destroyed those preppie’s wooden performance. Last place.
